Unlocking Potential with Human-Centred Coaching®

At the core of every thriving organisation, regardless of its size or industry, is its people – the heartbeat that fuels innovation, collaboration, and success; however, all too often, the bustling dynamics of today's workplace and the relentless chase for numbers and efficiency often overshadow the most critical component of success: the human element. Imagine a workplace where every individual is seen not just as a cog in the machine but as a vibrant, multifaceted human being. This is the essence of Human-Centred Coaching®.

In the fast-paced and demanding business world, the key to sustainable high performance lies not just in processes and strategies but in recognising and nurturing the human element at the heart of every organisation. Human-Centred Coaching® is a pioneering approach that redefines professional development by placing people at its core.

At Insync Workplace Solutions, we understand that true excellence in the workplace is a blend of physical well-being, mental agility, emotional intelligence, and professional skills. "The Human-Centred Coach" is not about abstract concepts or life coaching; it's a practical, evidence-based methodology tailored to the modern professional environment.

Developed by Deanne Boules, Founder and Chief Enabling Officer and author of "The Human-Centred Coach, Empowering Leaders, Inspiring Change' due to be released in 2024, this approach integrates the latest in neuroscience, positive, cognitive and behavioural psychology with research from fields of naturopathy, kinesiology and others to bring you a game-changing, human-centred approach to unlocking high performance. Human-centred coaching® goes beyond traditional coaching models, which often focus narrowly on skills and outcomes, offering a more holistic approach that considers the full spectrum of an individual's professional and personal dimensions.

With Human-Centred Coaching®, we address the whole person because we know that for anyone to be at their best, they must be mentally and physically well.

Human-centred coaching is about understanding that an individual's performance is influenced by various factors – from their psychological state to their interpersonal relationships. This methodology empowers individuals to achieve their professional goals and navigate the complexities of the modern workplace with resilience and adaptability.

We have meticulously designed this program for business owners, leaders, executives, coaches, HR professionals or anyone interested in learning more about human performance.

Human-Centred Coaching® is more than just a professional development program; it's a commitment to nurturing the multifaceted aspects of being human in a business context. Join us in exploring this transformative approach, where professional growth and personal well-being converge to unlock true potential and drive exceptional performance.

What challenges does Human-Centred Coaching aim to address?

Human-centred coaching aims to address several critical challenges in the realms of personal and professional development, leadership, and organisational performance. Including, but not limited to:

  1. Disengagement and Lack of Motivation: Traditional coaching methods can sometimes fail to engage individuals on a deeper level. We fail to recognise that as Human Beings, we are complex creatures; we have emotions and lives outside of work that can impact our work performance. Human-centred coaching seeks to remedy this by adopting a holistic approach, considering the 'whole' person (physical and psychological well-being) and focusing on the individual's values, beliefs, and intrinsic motivations, leading to enhanced engagement and productivity.
  2. One-Size-Fits-All Approach: Many coaching models apply the same techniques to all individuals, disregarding their unique backgrounds, learning styles, and needs. Human-centred coaching tailors its approach to the individual, acknowledging and embracing diversity, including neurodiversity.
  3. Low Retention and High Turnover: Employees often leave organisations where they feel undervalued, misunderstood or can not bring their whole authentic selves to their work. Human-centred coaching can enhance job satisfaction and retention by focusing on individuals' needs and fostering an inclusive environment.
  4. Inadequate Leadership Development: Traditional leadership development may not adequately prepare leaders for the complexities of managing diverse, dynamic teams. Human-centred coaching equips leaders with the empathy, communication skills, and emotional intelligence necessary for modern leadership.
  5. Resistance to Change: Organisational change can be met with resistance if not managed effectively. Human-centred coaching helps individuals navigate change by addressing their concerns and fostering a culture of adaptability and resilience.
  6. Lack of Psychological Safety: Without psychological safety, team members may not feel comfortable sharing ideas or voicing concerns. Human-centred coaching creates environments where individuals feel safe and valued, promoting innovation and collaboration.
  7. Ineffective Communication: Poor communication can lead to misunderstandings, conflict, and reduced team cohesion. Human-centred coaching emphasises active listening, clear articulation, and empathetic dialogue to improve communication.
  8. Performance Measurement: Traditional performance metrics may not fully capture an individual's contributions—human-centred coaching advocates for holistic performance metrics that reflect personal growth, collaboration, and other qualitative factors.
  9. Stress and Burnout: The pressures of the modern workplace can lead to stress and burnout. Human-centred coaching focuses on well-being, work-life balance, and stress management techniques to promote sustainable high performance.

By addressing these issues, human-centred coaching enhances individual well-being and development and drives organisational success by building more cohesive, adaptable, and high-performing teams.
